Production Process Overview

Custom Bone China Shapes Development Process
Quality inspection is conducted at every step.

1. Model Making

The foundation of every custom piece begins with precision model crafting. Skilled artisans create a master mold that defines the shape and details of the final product.

2. Air Drying

The freshly crafted model undergoes a controlled air-drying process to remove excess moisture, ensuring the shape remains intact and preventing deformation during the subsequent production stages.

3. Clay Preparation

High-quality raw materials, including fine bone ash, kaolin, and feldspar, are carefully measured and blended to achieve the ideal consistency for molding and shaping.

4. Slip Casting

The prepared liquid clay is poured into the molds, allowing it to take the desired shape. Once set, excess slip is drained, and the mold captures the fine details of the design.

5. Demolding & Bisque Firing

The formed pieces are carefully removed from the molds and undergo bisque firing at a high temperature, which strengthens the structure while keeping it porous for glazing.

6. Bone China Polishing

The bisque-fired items are hand-polished to smooth out imperfections, refine edges, and ensure an even surface, providing the perfect foundation for glazing and further processing.

7. Glazing

A layer of high-quality glaze is applied by hand or machine to achieve a smooth, glossy finish. This step enhances both durability and the signature translucency of bone china.

8. Glaze Firing

The glazed items are fired at extremely high temperatures, vitrifying the surface to create a luminous, non-porous, and durable finish, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.

9. Quality Inspection

Each piece is meticulously examined for structural integrity, shape accuracy, and surface uniformity. Any defective or irregular items are removed to maintain high production standards.

10. Decal Application & Gold Inlay

Custom patterns, logos, or decorative designs are meticulously applied(if have), often enhanced with gold or platinum accents for an exquisite, high-end finish

11. Decorative Firing

The decorated pieces undergo a final firing process to fuse the applied designs into the glaze, ensuring durability and long-lasting beauty.

12. Final Product Selection

A rigorous selection process is conducted to filter out any minor defects before packing. Only flawless, high-quality pieces make it to packaging and shipment, ensuring customer satisfaction.
